A city that outdistances man’s walking powers is a trap for man, thus, there is a used Bentley for sale on auto dealers worldwide to provide the people with a means to overcome this happening. A used Bentley doesn’t necessarily mean that it is already worn out and rugged; a Bentley never losses its touch at glam. It is within one’s means and very expedient to one’s taste. Second-hand cars are not meant to be conked out because they can be used for collection of your desire.
Some used Bentley’s are the following: Bentley Mulsanne S from 1988- 8 cylinder 90 degree V-configuration, aluminium-silicon alloy cylinder block with cast iron wet cylinder liners; bore x stroke 104.14 x 99.06 mm (4.1 x 3.9 in), capacity 6,750 cc, aluminium alloy cylinder heads; Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection (from 1990 Bosch K-Motronic fuel injection and ignition control system); 3-speed automatic gearbox; hypoid bevel final drive; independent suspension with coil springs front and rear, hydraulic self-levelling height control rear; ventilated disc brakes front, plain discs rear; wheelbase 3,061 mm (120,5 in) or 3,161 mm (124,5 in); tyres 235/70HR x 15 and cost $12,950;
Bentley Eight from 1987- The Eight was introduced with cloth upholstery, steel wheels, and a mesh grille that was simpler than the slatted grille of the Mulsanne. Fuel injection and anti-lock brakes were added in 1986, leather upholstery and power memory seats were added in 1987, and automatic ride height adjustment was added in 1990. Catalytic converters became optional in 1990. The three-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a four-speed transmission in August 1992.Cost about $16,900; Bentley Turbo R from 1990- was a high-performance model produced by Bentley Motors Limited. It shared the Mulsanne’s chassis, and inherited the turbocharged engine from the Mulsanne Turbo.
However, the Turbo R’s V8 engine was returned with new Bosch MK-Motronic fuel injection for added torque. It also sported a returned suspension and wide tires on alloy wheels, a first for a Bentley. Motor Trend called the Turbo R “the first Bentley in decades deserving of the famous name” in their review of the car on its introduction to the United States in 1989.
The suspension changes, though seemingly subtle, transformed the heavy car into a real performer. Anti-roll bar rates were increased 60% front and 80% rear and tuned dampers were added. A Panhard rod was also introduced, reducing side-to-side movements in corners. Spring rates remained the same as on the Muslanne. And cost about $24,500; Bentley from 1989- Launched in tandem with the updated 1980 Silver Spirit was the Bentley Mulsanne, named after the corner at Le Mans, at the end of the longest straight on any racetrack in the world. Rolls-Royce had hitherto eschewed all references to Bentley’s racing past; the naming of the Mulsanne was the last roll of the marketing dice.
It was, indeed, the tiniest of flickers – but it soon ignited a search for the kind of power under the bonnet that could deliver to the promise of the badge. With its V8 turbocharged to 300bhp, the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo became the surprise hit of the 1982 Geneva Motor Show. Here was a 2200kg car that reached 60mph in just 7 seconds. With a top speed of 135mph it was the fastest Bentley in history, and faster even than the likes of the Daimler Double Six, the Aston Martin Lagonda and Ferrari’s 365GT4.
By 1989 half of the cars emerging from Crewe were Bentleys. Ten years after the introduction of the Mulsanne Turbo, Bentley would outsell Rolls-Royce two-to-one. And cost about $25,900; Brentley Brooklands from 1993- Sedan, Green, 8 Cylinders, Automatic, RWD, 4 door and cost about $32,000;
Anything but cars, whether brand new or old, even with used parts; as long as they suite one’s convenience is opts for good. And with that is the service of a used Bentley for sale!
